SSPDF Statement on Jebel Iraq Mass Murder

The South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) released a statement regarding an attack that occurred on March 28, 2026, at Khor Galtan in Central Equatoria State. The combined forces of SPLM/SPLA-IO and NAS attacked artisanal miners, resulting in significant casualties, including the deaths of twelve SSPDF soldiers and 24 civilians, with many others injured.
