Juba Teaching Hospital suspends obstetrics and gynecology registrars undergoing clinical training indefinitely

The Juba Teaching Hospital (JTH) administration has suspended obstetrics and gynecology registrars undergoing clinical training due to their refusal to comply with administrative regulations and for inciting others to abstain from their duties. Despite a meeting where the registrars’ demands were discussed, they have chosen to disrupt services instead of focusing on their training. The suspension is effective immediately and will remain until further arrangements are made. The administration also mentioned plans to share a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to guide the relationship between the hospital and the training organization for improved training quality.
