A video of US President Donald Trump posing as a medical doctor is AI generated for satire.
In the video posted on 2 July, 2026 on the official verified Facebook page of Donald. J. Trump as a reel, Trump is recorded talking about the dangers of TDS and three people who claim to be his patients who got cured after listening to ‘Dr Trump.’
According to Verfassungsblog, a global forum of scholarly debate at the interface of academia and society, Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is an inability to identify or critically think about the actions of Donald Trump or his administration objectively.
The claim was posted on the official Facebook page of Trump, with 42 million followers and a blue tick confirming it is verified by Meta.
In the video. Trump’s treatment of the condition is simple: switch off fake news and It attracted over 3700 reactions, 5000 comments and 6000 shares.
Debunking the Claim:
Running a screenshot of the image through an AI detector tool AI not AI, the results showed that 25% is AI and 19% of it is deepfake.
A keyword search for the words ‘Is Donald Trump a practising medical practitioner?’ returns a clear result showing Donald Trump has never been a medical practitioner.
Results further go ahead to detail that Donald Trump studied for a bachelor’s in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his career background is primarily in real estate development, entertainment, and politics.

The ClarityDesk has found a video of US President Donald Trump posing as a medical doctor to be AI generated for satire. Through the AI video detector and Google search, it was indicated clearly that content shared on the official Facebook page of Trump was misleading and AI-generated.
