He’s gotten training from 211 Check, Code for Africa, Africa Check, DFRLab and IFCN on various topics in fact-checking. He was a fact-checking fellow and later associate editor at 211 Check under Defyhatenow. Currently an African Union Media Fellow, a fellowship program led by the African Union with support from GIZ and the European Union. Through which he has attended several conferences within the continent and abroad, including the Global Media Forum in Bonn (2024). In addition to fact-checking, he’s also a trainer in the areas of information disorder and, with his colleague at the AUMF2.0, designed a fact-checking toolkit.
He’s a creative, resourceful, and flexible individual who can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic. He’s a clear and logical communicator who can establish rapport with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals to achieve organizational and personal goals.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Public Administration from Kampala International University.
